Yes, they are ugly. And those metal treads? I know they are supposed to keep you from slipping, but they actually are a tripping hazard!

ReplyDeleteDo you know that I did this with my basement before the remodel? So funny! I had actually used red rosin paper because it was cheaper and then I painted most of it white and just left one wall red rosin-y. Hilarious that you are going to try it too! I loved the effect and it hides A LOT - you couldn't even see my paneling grooves.
